Product Description The TR3000 is a folding treadmill that you can run on with confidence. The isolated frame design and solid construction frame keep the handlebars and console steady even during heavy use. Key components like the drive motor, incline motor, deck and side rails all meet the requirements of avid runners.
Amazon.com Product Description Selected as a Best Buy from Treadmill Doctor, this easy-to-use, high-quality folding treadmill from LifeSpan is loaded with features designed specifically to meet the needs of walkers. Among the treadmill's most popular functions are speed and incline buttons on the handlebars, which let you adjust the speed and incline without removing your hands; eight bumpers in the deck suspension to evenly absorb the impact of the foot strike while providing a firm pushoff at the end of each step; and several preset programs that make it easy to vary the incline and distance as you walk. Add them all up and you have an ideal treadmill for home workout enthusiasts. The TR 3000-HRC is equipped with a 2.75-horsepower continuous-duty motor that supports speeds from 0.6 to 12 miles per hour, an 800-pound thrust, 2.5-inch precision ground rollers in the front that provide a smooth walking surface, and a 20- by 56-inch walking/running surface. Finally, the treadmill's console offers a heart-rate-controlled (HRC) program for more efficient workouts. Once you set your target heart rate, the console automatically maintains the heart rate using the grip pulse or your own heart rate chest strap. The advanced console also allows you to track you speed, incline, distance, heart rate, and body mass calculation.

About Treadmills Walking is still considered one of the most beneficial cardiovascular exercises for people of all ages, body types, and fitness levels. As a fundamental form of aerobic training, walking has numerous physical benefits for the heart, lungs, and circulatory system, while also increasing muscle tone and burning fat calories. Treadmills provide a convenient way to regularly exercise in all weather conditions in the comfort and safety of your own home. From beginners just starting an exercise regimen to advanced athletes looking to maintain their fitness level, anyone interested in getting and staying in shape can benefit greatly from regular use of a treadmill. Treadmills allow you to determine the pace, distance, and complexity of the workout based on your needs, all while watching television, talking on the telephone, or reading a magazine. Much easier on sensitive joints like the knees and hips, treadmill walking and running surfaces are typically long, padded platforms that allow ample room for a long stride and comfortable, low-impact walk or jog without the harsh contact of a concrete surface. While many different types, styles, and price ranges of treadmills exist, many of them offer unique features like a fold-up design for easy storage, an electronic display monitor showing speed, distance, workout time, incline level, and burned calories, and EKG grip pulses to monitor the heart rate while exercising. Regardless of the simple to complex features you may choose, treadmills offer an array of aerobic exercise opportunities that will provide long-lasting beneficial cardiovascular results without a commute to the gym or a jog in the rain.

Great price and fast delivery March 2, 2009 Eredfern (Denver, CO) 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
"Great price with free delivery from Amazon. Shipping was fast from company called CEVA. Assembly was easy and we had no issues. It is almost fully assembled in the box and the tools are also provided which was nice. Within 45 minutes we were trying it out. The treadmill can be folded while in the box which allows you to break the end of the box and wheel the treadmill out of the box and into its location instead of having to lift it up and out as I first thought that I may have to do. Treadmill has excellent reviews on-line. My wife wanted an iPod connection but told her that it was just something else that could go wrong...the treadmill is in front of a TV and she can wear her iPod if she wants to listen to music. We have only had it for a couple of months but so far so good."
Great treadmill! February 25, 2009 ILuvAccounting (Florida) 14 out of 16 found this review helpful
We purchased the LifeSpan TR 3000 Treadmill to help us with our exercise routines. We have been researching fitness equipment for over a year and this treadmill had a lot of positive reviews...and to be quite honest in watching the Biggest Loser they seem to use the treadmill and bike the most during their workouts so those are the items we chose to buy. Between my husband and myself, we use it to walk / jog about 5 miles 3 days a week and use the bike 2 of the other days. It is solid. The motor is very quiet, and doesn't even flinch when my husband jogs (245 lbs). The handlebar speed and incline buttons are great! The running surface is nice at 20" wide.
The drawbacks were nominal but wanted to mention. The machine is big and heavy - so have others there to assist when assembling. We had to take our unit to the basement and my husband got some help from a neighbor and a furniture dolly. It took about a week from the time that I ordered until the time I got a call from the delivery company. I am not sure if this is for all deliveries but the driver would not bring this into our house. He did put it in the garage until my husband got home.
I would strongly recommend this treadmill.
Awesome treadmill and easy to set up! March 6, 2009 E. Saint (PA) 12 out of 15 found this review helpful
I use my treadmill 4-5 days a week for 30-40 minutes and I love it. I am training for my first half marathon and have set the User program to do my interval training, I don't use the other programs so I can't add any comments on those. It is very quiet at the 6-8 mph range as well as during my warm up and cool down speeds. Trucking company called in advance to set up a delivery time. I am on the first floor in my complex but did have my neighbor there to help but really only needed him to help me get the treadmill to the back of my place. ***The delivery company does not bring it into the house...he told me front door or garage only.*** Assembly was easy with the handlebars and console already attached it was just tightening bolts and attaching a few cosmetic pieces. I love my treadmill and would recommend.
Good Treadmill - Great Value! February 24, 2009 Kristine (Kansas City, MO) 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
My LifeSpan TR3000 treadmill is the best treadmill I found in my research for the money! It is solid, durable, sturdy, stable and safe - all things I was looking for in a treadmill to run on a few times a week. I got my treadmill about a month ago and was impressed from the start - free shipping, delivery within a week, and simple assembly in less than an hour. The treadmill is very heavy, so I recruited a couple friends to give me a hand moving it downstairs. It does fold up and move around quite easy as it has wheels on the frame when you tilt the treadmill back. My TR3000 treadmill is very stable and feels solid when I run, and is very quiet and smooth even when running at the 6-8 mph speeds. The console shows me all the information I need at once. The exercise programs are great for variety and motivation. I also use the manual program on the treadmill and adjust the speed and incline as I workout. I would recommend a LifeSpan TR3000 treadmill to anyone seeking a good solid treadmill for running or walking.
Well-built, quiet operation April 8, 2009 Ramesh Kumar (Pennington, NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a well designed, easy to put together treadmill. It was well packed and arrived rapidly. No problem in making the few final assembly operations. Works quietly and has many programs, including the ability to elevate to 15 degrees.
